AUSTIN, TEXAS- June 21, 2011- Give As You Get, a company that combines giving to your favorite charity with online shopping has chosen Austin-based Paddington Media for their web content system and branding needs.
“Give As You Get came to us with their concept and we helped them turn that idea into a reality,” said Michael Mendoza, CEO and Sales and Marketing Manager of Paddington Media. In addition to setting up the website, Paddington Media also assisted Give As You Get with branding through the design of the company logo.
The idea behind Give As You Get is to turn the online shopping experience into giving, by combining the wants of the online buyer with the needs of local non-profit organizations. Currently, Give As You Get has nearly 20 Austin organizations eligible to receive donations, including the Austin Film Society, Family Eldercare and Girl Scouts of Central Texas. Online shoppers are able to choose from over 30 major retail stores including Amazon, Groupon and Expedia. When customers make a purchase, 50% of their transaction will go to their charity of choice.
In the future, Give As You Get hopes to eventually expand to charities and organizations beyond the Austin area.
